Graduating from the University of Central Lancashire in 2004, I have spent the last 18 years as a Surface Pattern Designer, Community Artist and Educator.
My experience of working in Community, Mental health and Lottery funded projects has forged a love of learning, teaching, and sharing new skills whilst promoting wellbeing. I often use art and creativity as a platform for conversation, connection and therapeutic exchange and at other times for mindfulness, reflection, and immersion.

I wholeheartedly promote the act of doing, rather than the finished perfect version. Art and creativity for me is throwing caution to the wind and trying something new and having fun.

My curiosity and love of texture, pattern and colour plied with my love of nature, found objects, natural materials and the art of craftsmanship has led me to work in many different mediums including textiles, glass, wood, inks, wire, and clay, whilst working alongside some great mentors.

In 2020 I joined the wonderful and inspiring community of Luneside Studios and this is where I call my creative home. I share a broad range of services including Art, commissions, 1:1 and group workshops. If you would like to find out more please feel free to get in touch.
